My Song Of The Week

Thumbnail image for My Song Of The Week January 5, 2011

I have a habit of hearing a song, liking it, and listening to it over and over and over. This week, this song popped into my head – Paper Planes by M.I.A.

I thought it was a good song when it first came out, but I didn’t like it as much as I do now. Being the upstanding citizen I am…

Blog Editor: Upstanding citizen?? It’s YOU we’re talking about, right?

Moja: Yes, me!

As I was saying, being the upstanding citizen I am, I went to Amazon and bought the mp3 version of the song.

I’m not sure why I like it, but I’ve listened to it a lot. I know it’s got a catchy chorus, but I think I also like the “take your money” line. I interpret to mean “earn as much money as you can” (from legal sources, of course).

Blog Editor: I thought you said you were going to talk about procrastination today?

Moja: Oh yeah… I’ll definitely do it tomorrow…

New Year’s Resolutions 2011

January 1, 2011

It’s that time of the year when most of us sit down and think of the things we would like to achieve in the new year. If you think about it logically, nothing really changes from 31st December to 1st January. All the situations that existed in our lives yesterday are probably still here today.
